大学·权益--转某大Student Email

俺很想知道，现在，你们的大学对Gay、Les、Bi、Trans、Inter（GLBTI）人群的持何种态度，试图或曾经做出何种举措？

Student Reps sought for Equity and Diversity Committee

The University's Equity and Diversity Committee is seeking 5 students to represent the following equity target groups:
1.  Women
2.  ……
3.  People with Language Background other than English (LBOTE)
4.  ……
5.  Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex People (GLBTI)

……………………  The next meeting will take place on Wednesday 28th May, from 9-10:30am.

The XX University Student Representative Working Group (XUSRWG) has been charged with identifying suitable students to represent the above groups on the Equity and Diversity Committee.

PS，我一在温尼伯的哥们说他们大学在计划推出GLBTI专用洗手间，好彪悍啊！

始终觉得关于“人权”与“自由”，其实是把双刃剑，人与人之间，做到平等其实就足够了。
一如历史上的“反战”运动，反而制造了更多的战争，“反毒品”运动反而制造了更多毒品。针对性的运动只会让一些人们把精力都集中在那些矛盾点上，以致于将矛盾激化并恶化。

在这引用诺贝尔和平奖得主特蕾莎修女说过的一句话（http://baike.baidu.com/view/30822.htm）
“我不参加反战的游行，但如果你们要召开和平集会，请通知我。”

所以说，如果想反对战争，就支持和平吧，如果反对饥饿，就支持丰衣足食，反对一个政治家，就支持他的竞争对手，反对歧视GLBTI，就支持人人平等。

而专用洗手间，个人觉得多少有些作秀的成份……

当把这些东西符号化个别化时，一定是更加突出显示群体的特殊。
等到人们把人为的界限划掉时，才是真正的平等。

宏观来讲“顺其自然”是很消极的，所以对高校这种举措俺觉得还是positive大于negative的，达到“平等”的这个过程中需要很多人、很多年的付出。

PS，“洗手间计划”我和朋友都很寒。。。想起QAF里的BABYLON >   <||||||

个人认为“平等”这种东西是不可能长期稳定存在的，只能说，尽量赢得更多人的理解吧
