Paul Potts， 一位来自英国的普通男人。

36岁曾就职于欧洲最大手机零售商Carphone Warehouse的手机推销员，2007年Britain’s Got Talent （《英国天才秀》）的冠军Paul Potts ！卖手机的Paul Potts，身形胖胖，装扮老土，说话结巴，又怕怕羞羞，但一开口唱歌，依然感动得要滴泪了。台下观众不自觉地起身拍掌致敬，Pual Potts就是风云人物，把许多专业歌手要比下去了。

一个小人物完成梦想的能量，居然这么大，主持人没有说错，Paul Potts的故事给全世界人上了一课，在这年头，不要放弃自己，做最喜欢的事情，奇妙的东西就会发生，他将要到英女皇面前表演一次呢。


7月24日他发行了自己的第一张专辑《One Chance》Paul Potts 是最近在英国电视节目《 Britains Got Talent 》崛起的新星，没有帅气的外表、没有华丽的装扮，他只用宏伟的歌喉来震惊所有观众。第一次听他唱Nessun Dorma，我全身因感动而起鸡皮疙瘩，心想：他真的是所谓的平凡人吗？Paul Potts 是一个毫不起眼的人。准确地说，Paul Potts 一生也毫不起眼。 个子不高，肥肥胖胖。受过阑尾发炎，肾上腺肿瘤, ... Paul Potts 的心愿，就只是想做自己喜欢的事。

Paul Potts真的是一个普通的不能再普通的人了。
他个子不高，长得也实在不能算帅。
他是一个手机销售员，甚至，没有进行过任何专业的训练。
他坦承自己想当职业歌者 ，
可是最大的问题是信心不足 ，而且容易紧张。
开始演唱之前，
主持人问：『你要唱什么？』
他傻傻的回答：『只是唱歌剧而已.....』
结果评审之一Simon很不以为然地说：『喔，那你开始吧！』
Paul Potts 唱的是普契尼的著名歌剧「杜兰朵」
里面的咏叹调「公主彻夜未眠」！
当他开口唱歌，
所有人都被他惊人的歌喉 ，震惊到说不出话来。
甚至情不自禁地起立鼓掌。
Paul Potts 说他最大的心愿，就只是想做自己喜欢的事。
他的歌声，令观众神魂颠倒，令美女评判流泪，
令尖酸刻薄的Simon由衷赞叹。
他已不再是Paul Potts the mobile phone salesman。

Simon的评语竟然是这个，他在美偶里没说过什么中听的话阿，真不容易！

是意大利语，以前曾经介绍过一个美声组合Il Divo演唱过这首歌曲，在这个帖子：

西蒙要求得太严格了，不过他被这个男人打动了，听到他的歌声时，他猛地抬起头来。
