最近一直在听这张专辑Black Box Recorder的《England Made Me》,初听的时候先是被《Girl Singing in the Wreckage》打动,后来发现这张专辑里的歌几乎首首好听.就来推荐一首BBR98年发行的这张专辑《England Made Me》里的一首不太像歌的歌《Child Psychology》~
在这首歌中的旁白是讲述一个6岁小孩拒绝说话并抗拒任何治疗的事,旁白的间隙Sarah类似小孩子的声音反复的唱着“Life is unfair, kill yourself or get over it......”歌的最后我们听到“My parents welcomed me with loving arms”,几乎就要以为这孩子就要正常的生活,可事实却不是这样.温暖的声音却在唱着清冷的词句,整首歌听完让人不能自已的颤栗.

The November when I came home the Christmas decorations were already up
Spray on snow, coloured flashing lights
And an artificial tree that played Silent Night
Over and over again
My parents welcomed me with loving arms
But within an hour were back at each others throats
Normal, happy childhood back on course

Black Box Recorder三人乐队是由Sarah Nixey, Luke Haines, John Moore组成.喜欢女主唱Sarah的腔调,......当然还有样子.顺便说BBR的官网上说Sarah是要出单飞专辑了,期待下她能给我们什么样的惊喜...... |
